This week at the BIBS Shunyi Campus we have been academic, reflective and adventurous;

  • On Tuesday, Grade 1 took a field trip to Ethnic Park. The students observed different house structures and different traditional clothes from around the world. It was a great to see them use their prior knowledge and
    discuss the how the houses were made and how traditional clothes vary from country to country. All enjoyed the field trip!
  • Also on Tuesday morning we held our last Parent Coffee/Tea morning for this academic year. The parents were given a presentation on WIDA by Jane Lourie our ES head of EAL. They were then given an update on the IB Verification Report, ISA and the plans for next year by the ES Principal.
  • On Friday we had our Graduation Ceremony for the Grade Five students. It was a very emotional time for all those who attended, even the speakers. After the ceremony the students, staff and parents retired to the VIP tent to have photos taken and to eat and drink to mark this very important event.
  • On Saturday, 26 May 2018 selected students will represent our school at the annual u/11 Boys Soccer Tournament at Daystar Academy. This is a prime opportunity for them to display the improvement of their skills in the Invasion Games Unit. Good luck to all the students!

Upcoming dates to note;
