Positive Discipline is a program designed to teach young people to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities. Positive Discipline books, written by Jane Nelsen and Lynn Lott, are based on the works of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs. The Positive Discipline presentation will focus on how parents and teachers can work together to help the children have a successful life and future. We will learn about PD theories and about effective leadership at home and at school. We will discover the four main reasons children “mis”behave and learn great strategies to help them be more cooperative and responsible. Participants will leave the presentation with many Positive Discipline tools they can implement right away! The presentation will be very interactive and fun!
